I had seen Nick Moss several times in 2010, first in Memphis, TN and then at Notodden Blues Festival, Norway where I could not resist attending his show with his great band The Flip Tops 3 times in 2 days...

The rumors that preceded him in Norway gave words about a new "young" artist playing the traditional Chicago Blues in the old fashioned way like his musical ancestors. His new album “Privileged” however was a big surprise. Yes, it’s in many ways a traditional blues album, yet it is so much more; it's a great blend of blues, blues rock and rock’n roll. Just listen to "Bolognious Funk", a genuine masterpiece which sums it all up.

His gigs in Norway were all successful and may he be well received by the European blues societies, clubs and festivals.
